- a mouse called Minnie, a little girls obsession

In 1942, Walt Disney created a drawing, which instantly became so much more than just a drawing.
Originally a hand-drawn comic strip story, the world of Minnie and Mickey launched into something much bigger.
Soon there was television shows, films, Disney World theme parks, merchandise spilling out of stores, 'Disney on Ice' plays and tours.
As pencil met paper, the character which portrays a female mouse in her household polkadot, red and pink dress, black patent heels and hair bow, created a drawing which came to life.
Over the years the Disney characters have been children's dreams, their comfort, their entertainment, mine included...
...But, with Minnie, it's different.

The style, persona and personality created by Walt Disney doesn't just attract young generations anymore. As fashion moves on and new trends arise, old styles come back around. The Minnie Mouse creation has created something new within the fashion world, it's fun and unique image has inspired designers to platform collections.

Magazines have based many front covers, headlining articles and featured celebrities solely based on the playful cartoon character.

This is the side of fashion that truly inspires me, when the fun comes through. Fashion and style is about being different, being unique, it was never intended to be taken seriously. The best sort of style in my eyes is when you're happy with what you're wearing. Wear it because it makes you feel good, wear it because it makes you smile.

"Everyone has to get dressed in the morning, so you may as well have fun with it!"

... and now i really want to go to Disneyland! :(
